What's the fastest way to reach Bymond?
WhatsApp is the fastest. We reply within 1 hour, every day from 10:00 to 20:00 (and often much faster). Send a photo of your current hair + your goal reference + your Busan travel dates. The right designer will respond in English with realistic recommendations and exact pricing.
Do you speak English at the salon?
Yes. Director Byul and Deputy Director Dalnim handle most English consultations comfortably. Co-Director Seola and Designer Rin understand English well and use photo references for complex discussions. About 60% of our weekly bookings come from foreign clients, so English communication is part of the daily operation.
Can I book ahead from outside Korea?
Yes — most international clients book 1-2 weeks in advance via WhatsApp. International phone numbers work fine. We don't require a deposit for most services. We do recommend booking ahead for: Recovery Magic, all Magic variations, Color services, and 1mm Extensions (these take 3+ hours and slots fill quickly).
What if my flight is delayed?
Just WhatsApp us — we hold slots for international travel delays. Korean flights to Busan often have weather-related delays in winter. We've never charged a delay fee. If you arrive significantly late on the same day, we'll either find a same-day slot or reschedule for the next day.
Can my partner or friend come to the salon with me?
Yes — companion seating is available in our waiting area. WiFi, coffee, and tea are complimentary. The space is comfortable for 2-3 hours of waiting. For longer appointments (Magic 4-5 hours, Extensions 4-6 hours), many partners explore Gwangalli Beach and return at the end.
Is there a fitting room or private space?
There's a private changing area near the restroom — useful if you're changing clothes after a long-coverage service (Magic with cape, Color with smock). For privacy concerns during specific services, ask in advance — we can arrange semi-private seating.
Do you offer airport pickup?
No, but we can recommend trusted English-speaking taxi services from Gimhae International Airport (15-min ride, ~₩25,000). For Busan KTX station, the taxi is 10 minutes (~₩15,000). Both are easily managed via Kakao Taxi app (English available) or hotel concierge.
Can I get a salon tour before booking?
Yes — drop by during open hours (10-20). We're happy to show the space and answer questions. No appointment needed for a casual visit. If you prefer a planned tour with one of the designers present, WhatsApp to coordinate timing. Many international visitors do a 5-min tour before booking their next-day service.
How early should I arrive on the day of my appointment?
5-10 minutes early is ideal. We use this time for an in-person consultation, the final pre-service photo, and to discuss any adjustments to the plan you made via WhatsApp. Don't arrive more than 20 minutes early — waiting room comfort drops off after that.
What if I want to ask about a service not on your website?
WhatsApp us with your request — we can usually accommodate variations on existing services. If we don't perform a service, we'll honestly say so and recommend trusted alternatives. We don't quote work we can't excellently deliver, even if it loses us a booking.
